ECS: Cohort Entry Consulation – reminder survey clses at the end of this week

Dear Parents and Whānau,

Thank you to the many parents who have already comnpleted this survey, the responses you have given will be really helpful to the Board as it looks to make descisions for 2027.  If you have not done so yet, and would like to provide feedback the survey is open until the end of this week.

At Emmanuel Christian School, we are constantly looking for ways to improve our learning environment. We are currently exploring a move to cohort entry for our newest learners starting in 2027.

While your children are already settled with us, this change may affect your family if you have younger siblings yet to start school. Furthermore, cohort entry has been shown to benefit the children already in the class by minimizing weekly disruptions and allowing the peer group to remain more settled. It also provides opportunities for us to hold more meaningful group welcoming events for new families. More information is included in the survey
