School Accounts (Fees)

Attendance Dues, Activity Fees and the Voluntary Donation are three types of payment to the school.

Attendance Dues are payable to the Emmanuel Proprietor Trust for the provision of and maintenance of school property (Buildings). Attendance dues are compulsory fees.

The Voluntary Special Character Donation is a per student payment, it is a voluntary payment made to the Emmanuel Proprietors Trust. This money is used to provide resources and staff professional development directly related to the Schools Christian Character. This is not funded by the government and allows us to develop this critical component of the school. The Emmanuel Proprietors Trust will issue an annual tax receipt for any donations made.

The Attendance Dues and Voluntary Special Character Donation are invoiced by the EPT.  These invoices will be emailed to you by mid-February. For any queries relating to the Proprietor Fees or Voluntary Special Character Donation please contact the bursar by emailing bursar@emmanuelchristian.school.nz

The Voluntary Activities Donation is requested by the Board of Trustees and paid to the school. This is used to support activities such as: swimming lessons, transport and class trips. The Board of Trustees will issue a tax receipt for donations made.

School accounts were emailed out today (Friday 3 February)
For any queries relating to your child’s school account please see Louise in the Office or email office@emmanuelchristian.school.nz

Summary of Fees for the 2023 year:

Proprietor Fees (Emmanuel Proprietors Trust, EPT)
Attendance Dues $1,250.00 Per annum per child (compulsory)
Discount of $50 if paid in full by 31 March 2023

Voluntary Special Character Donation (EPT)
$ 300 (1st Child at the School) Per annum per child (voluntary)
$ 250 (2nd Child at the School)
$ 150 (3rd Child at the School)
No request is made for a donation for the 4th Child

School Donation (requested by the school)
Voluntary Activity Donation $90 per annum per child
The decision was made early this year to increase this amount from $70 due to rising costs (especially transportation).  Please note this is a request for a donation to support class trips, and activities such as school swimming lessons. No students will miss out on opportunites to be involved in any school trips based on the payment of this donation.  Any contribution you are able to make is significant in allowing us to provide opportunities for students across the year.

After School Athletics Club

This term we are going to run a school athletics club after school on Wednesdays afternoons.
The aim is for students to have a go, improve their personal bests and enjoy being involved.
This is open to any pupils who are interested in participating in running, jumping and throwing.

The cost is $35 per person.
If your child is interested and didn’t receive a notice please pick up a notice from the Office and return the completed form by Wednesday 8th February.

Itinerant Music Lessons 2023

Please click on the link below to read about Music Lessons at ECS.  All the itinerant music tutors’ contact details are included.  Please make contact directly with the tutor if you are interested in music lessons for your child.

We have a new singing tutor starting this year.  Amy Townshend is a past Emmanuel student.  Faith Morrison will be continuing with singing tuition as her university schedule allows.  Amy and Faith are sisters who both started at Emmanuel as new entrants and had their love of music and performing arts sparked and encouraged while attending ECS.  They both love to sing in choirs, lead worship at church and to perform in musicals.
To enrol in singing lessons with Amy or Faith please email Amy amymamy8@gmail.com
